...Halo 3 looks good, but it isn't enough to take me from VU

questions...

1. can you be fllood?
2. is there a multi player were you can play like a seige?
3. new weapons? vehicles?
4. how r the new grendades and stuff? like the bubble sheild?

1. can you be fllood? - I dont think so, as far as I know you can not play as the flood, however apparently in multiplayer you can now play as brutes, but I dont know since all I played was Campaign, which can now have up to 4 people play.

2. is there a multi player were you can play like a seige? - Siege?  I don't think there will really be much sieging in this game, however there are large 16 player games, however I have heard rumors that the game was expanded so that more people can play at a time, but again, I don't know since I have not played multiplayer,

3. new weapons? vehicles? - Sooo freaking many there's no way I could post about all of them, so I wont.  But the additions are amazing FLAMETHROWER!!!!

4. how r the new grendades and stuff? like the bubble sheild? - Well the grenades are ion a different class then the bubble shield and other stuff like it.  The granade, of which there are no 4-5 kinds are all amazing.  Frags, Plasmas, Brute Spikers, Incindiary, and possibly a flare and a smoke grenade, but I've not seen these last 2 yet.  The bubble shield, Grav Lift, power Drainer, Shield Generators, a Turret and more are all amazing with the shield generators thus far being the most impressive and useful part of the game on my way through Heroic, Legendary starting tomorrow...

It is just a great game.  And, I dont know how much elites are here, sorry.

Eh, it's comparing apples to oranges Roxy. Battlefield is definately squad-based in multiplay while Halo's more individualistic.

Halo is XBox roxbury, aka aim help cause of no mouse. Its kinda like BF with better looks and nubbertard game mechanics in order to let players actually hit something they want to hit. =)

As someone whos never tried X-box or Halo, how is Halo 3 compared to say Battlefield 2?

Try it out sometime, awsome for when you're hanging out with a bunch of people. You can just play for hours :D

Someone tell me the story I got a friend that like halo but isn't getting 3 till christmas and I want to annoy him by telliung him the story.

Plot

The game does not begin right where Halo 2 left off. The comic mini-series, Halo: Uprising, will bridge the story gap between the ending of Halo 2, and the beginning of Halo 3.^[23]

When the game begins, Master Chief is back on Earth, where the Covenant loyalists (Brutes, Drones, and Jackals), led by the Prophet of Truth, have laid waste to most of the planet. Covenant ships are hovering over an excavation site a few miles from the ruins of New Mombasa and have uncovered a large artifact.

The Master Chief, along with Sergeant Major Johnson and the Arbiter, make their way through the jungle towards a UNSC outpost. During this time, the Master Chief seems to experience disturbing broken transmissions from Cortana. Shortly after they reach their destination, the Covenant mounts an attack on the facility. After a brief struggle, in which the outpost is lost, the Master Chief receives orders from Commander Keyes and Lord Hood to clear a way into the African city of Voi, and destroy all anti-air Covenant defenses in preparation for an all-out assault on Truth and the artifact. After the Master Chief and the Arbiter destroy the defenses, Truth activates the artifact and creates an enormous slipspace portal, into which all the Covenant ships retreat. As the humans weigh their options, a Covenant ship controlled by the Flood arrives by slipspace and crash-lands nearby, the parasite within quickly spreading throughout the city.

The Master Chief and the Arbiter attempt to fight off the Flood, aided by the arrival of the Elite fleet, which proceeds to glass areas that have been infected. Keyes, the Master Chief, the Arbiter, and the Elite fleet decide to follow Truth. They leave Earth via the slipspace portal and find themselves near an immense artificial structure, which is soon revealed to be the Ark. They find that the Ark is in fact positioned outside of the Milky Way galaxy. 343 Guilty Spark arrives by an Elite dropship and promises to help the Master Chief in any way he can, since he has no more pre-programmed duties now that his ring has been destroyed. Guided by Guilty Spark, the Chief and the Arbiter push their way to the control room of the Ark, where they barely manage to stop the Prophet of Truth from activating the rings. Commander Keyes dies during the struggle.

In the meantime, a flood-infested High Charity arrives by slipspace. After executing the Prophet of Truth, the Arbiter and the Master Chief discover that a replacement ring has been constructed by the Ark to replace the one destroyed by Master Chief. The Chief decides to activate the ring so as to destroy any chance the Flood has from spreading even further. However, the Chief and the Arbiter first take a detour through High Charity to recover Cortana, who is still in the custody of Gravemind. After rescuing her, they destroy the Covenant homeworld as they make their escape, seemingly killing Gravemind.

When they arrive on the newly built Halo, they quickly discover that Gravemind is still alive, attempting to reconstruct himself on the new Halo. The Chief, the Arbiter, and Sergeant Johnson quickly make their way to the control room, where they attempt to fire Halo. Guilty Spark realizes that this will destroy his new ring because it is not fully ready yet, and kills Sergeant Johnson as he tries to activate the ring. At this point he exclaims to the Master Chief, "...you are Forerunner, but this installation is MINE!", explaining that humans are indeed the Forerunners. The Master Chief destroys Guilty Spark, activates the ring, and barely manages to escape with the Arbiter on The Dawn, a UNSC ship. The installation fires just as they get away.

Back on Earth, a memorial service is held, and the Arbiter leaves for his own homeworld. It is implied that the Master Chief did not survive to make it back to Earth. However, a short scene after the credit roll reveals that he and Cortana had in fact been separated from the Arbiter as a section of The Dawn tore off during the slipspace jump. Drifting through space, Cortana drops a distress beacon, and Master Chief climbs into a cryo chamber to wait for rescue. If the game is completed on the highest difficulty, Legendary, the hulk of The Dawn is seen drifting towards a planet after an unknown expanse of time.

ya i forget how u get these "points" but you can cusomize your image with them. there are like 8 different helmets/left shoulder/right shoulder/body pads for spartan and u-baba ( u know from halo1 if ur hardcore)

Metroid Prime is a sick nasty game if you like the wii.  For those of you who haven't played it before, the game is awesome once you get used to 1st person shooter controls with a wii. (it took me a while to get used to it as i don't own one and have only played a few times) I definitely recommend Metroid.

 still haven't gotten to play Halo 3 yet tho. When I was at a party the retards sucked and couldn't get 25 kills in 45 minutes so i had to leave before they finished. : ( stupid *beep*s

My brother and his friend already beat it on normal and only died once...

Halo 3 pwns all games hands down. I remember playing Halo 2 matchmaking and being a 36 (30 is very good) I have a 28 which would be higher if I wasn't trying to get the achievments lol. The army ranking is cool. It is always nice to see you go up in rank. Guess i'll see you peeps on the battlefield =)

I CAN'T WAIT FOR FABLE 2! It looks awsome! Although Halo 3 is a great game, I would never say it is the best game ever...

My friend is probably in that crowd lol.
